WHY PLAY DOUBLES?
-Recovers and maintains the love of
the game.
--Everybody gets burned out if they play under the
thumb of a coach non-stop, year round. Doubles
is an opportunity to play just for the fun and love
of the game!
-Outdoor Volleyball is FUN!
--Tournaments and leagues have an incredibly fun
and friendly atmosphere. You quickly become
friends with the other players, and have fun on and
off the court!
--Tournaments are a great excuse for family
vacations to places like Steamboat, Vail, Aspen,
Breckenridge, etc.
-Teaches skills and strategies far
more quickly than indoor.
--With only two players, each player gets many
times the touches during each play. More
touches, more often = getting better faster.
--Without a coach constantly telling a player what
to think about, they start seeing the game
through new eyes, and start thinking about
ways to win for themselves instead of relying
on a coach to do it for them.
